Initiating Research at an NPRC

The National Primate Research Centers welcome collaborations with early career and established investigators.

Top priority is given to NIH-funded extramural projects, but the NPRCs do work with investigators funded through other sources.  After NIH-funded extramural projects, priority is given to NIH intramural projects; other federal- or state-funded projects; nonprofit or not-for-profit entities; and projects funded by for-profit entities.

Please contact the NPRCs as early as possible in your grant preparation process. The NPRCs can help facilitate research study design, identify available animals, and provide budget information that can strengthen your grant proposal.
